Variety of action movies triumphs over romance movies

Wouldn’t you rather watch a story filled with an actually interesting cast and a fun story rather than an extremely boring story about two people falling in love? Yeah, me too.

Action movies are more interesting than romance movies.

Action movies are known for their spectacle when it comes to visuals. For example, the Marvel movies have many groundbreaking set-pieces, such as the battle of New York in “Avengers” or the QuickSilver scenes in the X-men movies. Either way, they are well shot and visually pleasing to watch.

You can still have a romance plot in an action movie without it being completely boring. “Scott Pilgrim vs The World” is a movie where the main character, Scott, is madly in love with Ramona Flowers, who just moved to his hometown of Toronto, Canada. The movie shows Scott and Ramona starting a relationship while also fighting off the seven evil exes of Ramona. This movie is proof that you can have a romance story without being extremely boring.

Unlike romance movies who have been using the same types of characters since their start, action movies always have something to change up the character tropes. While there are character roles in action movies, they are constantly changed to breathe a new life into these old character roles, unlike romance movies.

They are not just superhero movies. They also can be pirate movies or space movies or even comedies. The best thing about the variety is that even if you do not like superhero movies you can still enjoy a good action movie.

Out of the top ten highest-grossing movies of all time, eight of them are action movies. The top two are “Avatar” and “Avengers: Endgame.”

You can never really have a bad time watching an action movie. Every time I watch an action movie with friends or family, it is always a new, fun experience.
