Cheers

Cheers to the lives of Stephen Soneheim & Virgil Abloh, who sadly passed away. Both of these men contributed greatly to the arts–Soneheim through musical theatre and Abloh through fashion.

Cheers to seeing family and friends during the holiday season. It is truly the most wonderful time of the year, thanks to all the festive family traditions and time spent together.

Cheers to all the Starr’s Mill students who were in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City. Representatives included senior band captain Ella Stadelmeyer, junior guard co-captain Charlotte Craner, senior guard co-captain Sarah Galloway, and junior guard member Jillian Burke.

Cheers to all the shopping deals that come after Thanksgiving. There’s Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday. The Avenue in Peachtree City is a great place to find these deals, with all of their new stores, including Souls and High Country Outfitters.

Cheers to all the good movies coming soon to theaters. Those of particular interest include “Spiderman No Way Home,” “The Matrix Resurrections,” and “Wicked: The Movie.”

Cheers to it officially being Christmas season again. People can finally celebrate the joy of Christmas without everyone judging you for doing it before Thanksgiving. Personal opinion: As soon as Starbucks comes out with holiday drinks, it is Christmas time.

Cheers to attendance not counting toward exam exemptions again this year. Students can exempt the exam in one class as long as they are passing. Congratulations, those of you who already have 20+ absences this semester.
