Cheers to two more weeks until Thanksgiving break. It’s a great time to relax, enjoy a break from school, and stuff your face with turkey all while watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. 

Cheers to Mexican food. Picture a nice triangle-shaped chip, just lightly salted, dipped in warm, melty cheese dip. Heaven in a bite.  

Cheers to multiple Starr’s Mill students placing at the Clemson poetry competition. These students include freshmen Bella Gorman, Abby McSpadden, Mark Panait, Ella Griswold, and Stanley Dierkes, sophomores Mateya Petrova, Ishan Kasaju, and Rachel Harville, juniors Elizabeth Jackson, Melany Todd, Caron Lee, and Derrilun Maxey, and senior Samantha Ludwig. 

Cheers to pumpkins being used for both Halloween and Thanksgiving. After you go through all the effort to carve a beautiful pumpkin, you don’t have to throw it away on November 1. Just save it for Thanksgiving. 

Cheers to holiday items being back in stores. Specific shout outs to the Starbucks red cups, and Chick-fil-A’s peppermint milkshake.
