I am a member of the color guard in the Starr’s Mill Panther Pride marching band, and I enjoy creative writing and art in my free time. I am always willing to take on new opportunities in life.

Imagine if someone took a photo of you from your social media and used it to generate an inappropriate image, then proceeded to share it with your friends and family. This is one of the many immoral things that some people are using AI to do, and it needs to be stopped as soon as possible before AI becomes indistinguishable from photos, videos, and audio, all with the use of someone else’s social media posts.

He works together with his former student Ashley Byard, who illustrates the books for him. Once the books have been published, they are distributed to elementary schools across the state of Georgia.

Manny Bashakes is an inductee into the inaugural class of the Starr’s Mill Hall of Fame. Although Bashakes never attended Starr’s Mill, he played a significant role in helping to kick off school sports by volunteering in field maintenance. Bashakes has been maintaining the practice fields for nearly thirty years, and continues to maintain the fields and equipment at least once a week.

December 1, 2022 - For years, Starr’s Mill students have had their artwork displayed in the hallway between the cafeteria and auditorium. “It seemed like a good idea at the time. I wanted to start doing something, so I started collecting student art and created an art hall of fame,” visual arts teacher Todd Little said. “It started around 2001. I stopped about 2-3 years ago, because I lost my framer.”
