I am so excited to begin my second year on the Prowler! I would like to be an author and am planning on majoring in psychology and having a minor in something English related.  My favorite words are darling and delicately, and my least favorite words are chuckle and “one” as in a person. Equally as important, my favorite men are Johnny Depp, Ian Somerhalder, Christopher Briney, William Franklyn-Miller, Matt Sturniolo and my dad.

This is senior Chloe Fitzsimmons’s second year in journalism.

Many students feel as though the dress code was something brought about by new principal Jamie Voorhies, but it was actually led by administrators, teachers, and parents.

Austin Enriquez is an inductee in the Starr’s Mill Hall of Fame. Enriquez attended Starr’s Mill, running on the cross country team before graduating in 2007 and earning a degree from the University of West Alabama. He now teaches biology at the school and is head coach of the cross country team.

Jackson’s songs combine a variety of different styles coupled with his unique voice to expand the pathway of pop music. Presley’s music defined the culture of the 1950s as well as paved the path for emergence of rock and roll, creating a lasting impact and staying relevant 70 years later.

Popcorn is a snack loved by millions, but sometimes the flavors are outlandish and just plain wrong, leaving a debate as to which is the worst of the worst. Rainbow popcorn is lousily flavored and is both high in sugar and dye, leading to its target audience, children, being at risk. Kettle corn has an unsatisfying taste and the high amount of sugar it contains can be addictive, tricking consumers into sabotaging their health.
