Sarah DesLaurier, one of the Mill’s newest staff members, has joined the faculty as the attendance secretary. DesLaurier was born in England and grew up in California, eventually finding her way across the country to Starr’s Mill.

After graduating high school, she attended California State University and received her Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. Instead of pursuing a career in criminal justice, however, her previous occupations include being self employed and working at other schools.

DesLaurier has also made a television appearance. “My family and I went on HGTV for a beach renovation show a few years ago,” Deslaurier said. The program is called “Beachfront Bargain Hunt.”

DesLaurier is now a wife, a mother of two children who attend Whitewater High School, and a twelve-year resident of Fayetteville.
