Starr’s Mill welcomes Jill Snelgrove to the World Languages Department. Snelgrove taught English in France for a year after graduating college. This experience allowed her to travel throughout France and other parts of Europe. Snelgrove’s goal is for her students to experience the French culture while learning the language. “We’re going to French it up this year!” Snelgrove said.
Snelgrove’s hobbies include running, making crafts, as well as watching “Friends” and “Dateline.” She enjoys reading mysteries and says “coffee is the fuel of life.” Snelgrove has two children, and she loves to take golf cart rides with them. Snelgrove is also an adamant follower of the World Cup, and hopes to one day attend a match.
“To learn a language, we need to speak the language, hear the language, and have fun with the language,” Snelgrove said.
