Tim Monihan and Farmers Insurance recognize senior quarterback as the 22nd Player of the Week for the fall sports season.
“It’s a great honor,” Inagawa said. “There were a lot of big-time plays in this game and big-time players like Lincoln and the offensive line that could have easily been chosen, so it feels great.”
In the game against Cartersville, Inagawa ran 16 times for 55 yards, scoring one rushing touchdown. He also completed 18 of 26 passing attempts for 297 yards and four touchdowns. Inagawa set a new school record for single game passing yards, previously set by Adam Holley in 2009.
“I want my legacy to be as a great leader and hard worker on the team,” Inagawa said.
Inagawa had the highest pass completion rate in Starr’s Mill history completing 65% of his passing attempts.
“Logan has allowed us to do more on the offense,” head coach David Cooper said. “We’ve gone from a strictly wing-T team to by the end of his career, we could run so much more.”
Panther football ended their season in the second round of AAAA state playoffs, losing to Cartersville, 53-35. The ended Cooper’s first season as head coach 10-2 overall.
