Tim Monihan and Farmers Insurance recognize senior swimmer Ella Glinski as the second Player of the Week for the winter sports season.

“Recently I’ve been really trying for that state cut, and I’ve just been putting in the extra work at practice,” Glinski said. “I was recently selected for team captain as well.”

Ella recently placed second in the 200 individual medley and first in the 100 freestyle. 

“Her great leadership qualities, her dedication, her drive, she does all the little things right to be really good,” swim coach Derek Abrams, said. “She’s a great person to be around.” 

She is also a part of the 200 freestyle and 400 freestyle relays.  She has been dropping time in her events and is approaching state cut times.

The next dual swim meet will be at the Kedron Aquatic Center on November 22 starting at 5 p.m.
