Tim Monihan and Farmers Insurance recognize senior wide receiver Lincoln DeLaere as the 14th Player of the Week for the fall sports season. 

“Having fun with my boys, you know,” DeLaere said. “Getting to play with them everyday, that’s probably the best part.” 

In last week’s game against the Harris County Tigers, DeLeare ran the ball twice for 53 yards and had one touchdown. He also had 5 receptions for 124 yards and another touchdown. This season DeLeare has had a total of 638 yards. 

“He’s taking other kids under his wing and trying to teach them the right way to do it,” head coach David Cooper said. “That’s a sign of a senior that’s been through the program.” 

Last week, the Panthers defeated Harris Co, 28-7. The Panthers are 8-0 this season, averaging  377.3 yards per game. 

The Panthers host the Northside Patriots this Friday at 7:30 p.m.
