Tim Monihan and Farmers Insurance recognize senior quarterback Logan Inagawa as the 12th Player of the Week for the fall sports season.
“[I think I could have] better leadership, [and] pick up the team when they do bad,” Inagawa said.
In last week’s 38-35 win over Central Carrollton, Inagawa ran the ball 17 times for 129 yards and 3 touchdowns. He also completed 8 of 10 passes for 150 yards and 2 touchdowns.
“He’s a great student athlete, he’s a leader in the classroom, [and] he’s a leader on the field,” head coach David Cooper said. “He just wants everyone to be successful around him and wants to win, and that’s all we can ask of him.”
So far this season, Inagawa has rushed for 270 yards and 7 touchdowns. He has also accounted for 42 total touchdowns.
Starr’s Mill is currently undefeated at 7-0, 3-0 in region play. The Panthers travel to Harris County tonight for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff.
