Tim Monihan and Farmers Insurance recognize junior cross country runner Nate Pacetti as the seventh Player Of the Week of the fall sports season.

“[He was selected for] the way he works,” head coach Austin Enriquez said.

At the Panther Invitational on August 31, Pacetti finished 8th with a time of 16 minutes, 9.13 seconds. At the Carrollton Invite on September 7, he finished 7th with a time of 16:18.75. He was the top Starr’s Mill runner at both events.

“I think it’s mostly a team thing, and I put it all in at practice,” Pacetti said. “It turns into results.”

Starr’s Mill finished third at the Panther Invitational. The Panthers won the Carrollton Invite for the first time in school history with 174 points. Second place Whitefield Academy had 179 points.  

 The Panthers run at the Wingfoot XC Classic on September 21.
