Tim Monihan and Farmers Insurance recognize senior Oliver Wysong as the sixth Player of the Week for the spring sports season.

“[Tennis] has really taught me how to really practice and really work at things,” Wysong said.

Wysong plays line 1 singles for the team. His overall individual record is 5-5 so far.

“Oliver plays line 1 single and just dominates that line,” head coach Amy Every said. “He has had several close matches, but he’s got that competitive spirit where he really follows through and closes out the match.”

The boys team is currently 7-5 overall and 5-1 in region play.

Starr’s Mill boys tennis plays in the region tournament on April 9 at the Peachtree City Tennis Center.
