Tim Monihan and Farmers Insurance recognize senior Maggie Kluemper as the fourth Player of the Week for the spring sports season.  

“It’s a very team-based sport,” Maggie said. “We have to really trust each other.”

Maggie is the goalie for the Lady Panther lacrosse team. So far this season, she has had a save rate of over 50%. Starr’s Mill has outscored opponents 156 to 106 through 12 games.

“She’s really stepped up and been a leader on the defense this year,” head coach Tony Kluemper said. “We have a kind of inexperienced defense, and she’s really stepped up and been a leader for that.”

Starr’s Mill has lost its last two games against tough non-region opponents Pace Academy and Pope. The team is currently 8-3 overall and 2-0 in region. 

Lady Panther lacrosse hosts Alpharetta on March 25 at 6 p.m.
