Alex Ratinaud

Tim Monihan and Farmers Insurance recognize senior defender Alex Ratinaud  as the third Player of the Week for the 2022 spring sports season.

“He is a leader on the field, off the field,” head coach Jeff Schmidlkofer said. “He always has a great attitude and does a great job with the younger guys. It was an easy selection for me.”

Ratinaud has been on the team throughout high school. He is now captain.

“I am an example for everybody,” Ratinaud said.  “I work hard in practice, and I play hard in games.” 

The team is currently first in the A-AAAAA area 7 standings. Last weekend, the Panthers lost 8-1 to non-area opponent South Forsyth. 

The next varsity game will be home against Trinity on March 24 at 7:30 p.m. Trinity and Starr’s Mill are both undefeated in area play.
