Rylie Hamilton

Tim Monihan and Farmers Insurance recognizes co-captain of the dance team senior Rylie Hamilton as the final Player of the Week for the winter sports season.

“We had state two weeks ago and we won the state championship,” Hamilton said. “I helped lead my team there.”

The Starr’s Mill Dance team, the Pantherettes, dominated at state after having a clean sweep at all five competitions this season.  This is the first completely undefeated season the Pantherettes have had. It is also the first time in school history that a team from Starr’s Mill has won a state championship with an undefeated season. 

“She was just a great leader for the team,” dance team head coach Patt Coleman said. “She was an encourager [and] just shared so much experience with the team and just helped us get to state.”

Hamilton ends her high school dance career having won state every year.
