Greigh Joseph
Tim Monihan and Farmers Insurance recognize junior b-back Greigh Joseph as the sixth Player of the Week for the fall sports season.
“I bring depth. Basically, my job is to kind of round off the offense,” Joseph said. “If we need any short-yardage gains, you can look to me. If the passing off is looking pretty good, then I have a couple runs that I can run to spread the defense out.”
Joseph had 13 attempts, 53 total running yards, and 2 touchdowns in last Friday’s game. He also had one reception for 57 yards to get Starr’s Mill down to the 11-yard line before halftime.
“Greigh had two touchdowns in the game Friday and was kind of a bright spot for us,” football head coach Chad Phillips said. “He gets better every time he plays.”
Joseph’s overall season stats include 25 carries and 105 running yards, with his longest run being 9 yards.
The Panthers are off this week, but travel to Harris County on September 24 to begin region play.
