Earlier this week, Starr’s Mill defeated Trinity in a blowout win, 15-0.
The Panthers kept control of the ball throughout the entirety of the game and blocked any attempts at scoring, keeping Trinity to not even a single point. Despite the blowout win, there is still work to be done.
“Our passers need to be crisper,” sophomore Cooper Craddock said. “Throw better passes, getting our good looks, put tons of shots up.”
After just the first quarter, the Panthers were winning 9-0, and they did not let up. Starr’s Mill consistently forced turnovers and limited Trinity’s opportunities to score.
“It’s critical when you can win the ball back,” head coach Jeff Schmidlkofer said.
Starr’s Mill posted three more goals before halftime. They would score three more goals in the second half en route to a 15-0 win.
The Panthers host Westminster this at 12 p.m. on March 29.
