Connor Mosack qualified first for Saturday’s Fr8 Racing 208 at Atlanta Motor Speedway. He put the No. 81 Friends of Jacklyn Foundation Chevrolet for McAnally Hilgemann on the pole with a speed of 173.418 mph and a lap of 31.969 seconds.
Mosack looks to rebound after a 32nd place finish at Daytona International Speedway to begin the season last weekend.
“[McAnally Hilgemann Racing] brought four really fast trucks,” Mosack said. “I feel like we’ve got a really solid team behind us, so hopefully tomorrow we will keep them up front.”
Grant Enfinger will start alongside Mosack after qualifying second in the No. 9 truck Champion Power Equipment Chevrolet for CR7 Motorsports with a speed of 173.007 mph and a lap of 32.045 seconds.
Daniel Hemric in the No. 19 truck qualified 3rd with a speed of 172.920 mph and a lap of 32.061 seconds. Rajah Caruth will start in 4th in the No .71 truck with a speed of 172.592 mph and a lap of 32.122 seconds. Jack Wood rounded out the top-5 starters with a speed of 172.52 mph and a time of 32.132 seconds.
“It’s really good news for our team, especially coming off a week like last week,” Mosack said. “We’ll try to put together a solid race tomorrow.”
