Tim Monihan and Farmer’s Insurance recognize junior quarterback Logan Inagawa as the third Player of the Week for the 2023 fall sports season.
“Logan is a very skilled, very talented player,” head coach Chad Phillips said. “He is growing in his leadership role, and as he grows and gets older he is going to be more influential along the way.”
In last Friday’s 24-21 loss to Northgate, Inagawa ran the ball 17 times for 75 yards and one touchdown. In addition, he completed 15 of 21 passes for 182 yards and a touchdown.
“He played very well Friday, made some really good plays late in the game, and put us in position to win,” Phillips said. “We were one play short.”
Through two games this season, the Panthers average 167.5 rushing yards per and 149 passing yards per game.
“We have some good players around like Dorsey and Lincoln and Anderson,” Inagawa said. “[I] just give the ball to them, [and] help them make plays.”
Starr’s Mill travels to Luella tonight for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff against the Lions.
