Prior to spring break, Starr’s Mill hosted 38 schools in the annual Friday Night Lights track and field meet. Carrollton High School won the boys event with 116 points. Mill Creek followed with 75.50 points, and Starr’s Mill High School placed third with 71 points. Coming out on top for the girls was Brookwood with 99 points. Woodward Academy finished second with 87.50, while Hewitt-Trussville High School placed third with 68 points. Starr’s Mill earned 25 points, finishing the event in tenth.
