Senior Kailani Serapion’s younger brother and sister place a lei around her neck before she walks the bases with her parents on Senior Night. Serapion stood near home plate and passed out leis to the seniors as they finished making their way around the bases. “My family passed out leis because we are Hawaiian, and it is tradition when someone accomplishes something to congratulate them with a lei,” Serapion said.
