Going into spring break, senior Kyle Ulversoy believes the team is playing some of the best soccer it has all season.
“As a team we have definitely gotten better as the season has gone on,” Ulversoy said. “We have battled through some tough games, which have made us better.”
Playing Forest Park Thursday, March 28, the Panthers extended their win streak to eight games, winning 2-0.
“It was an interesting game,” varsity soccer coach Mike Hanie said. “We had to play a man down after Patrick Spencer got a red card, but we were able to overcome that challenge to win the game.”
On Tuesday, March 26, the Panthers recorded their sixth shutout of the season in a road victory against Ola High School, 7-0.
“Everyone is excited about how the season has gone so far,” junior Tylan Jones said. “We are all looking forward to finishing the season strong.”
The next home game is Friday at 7:30 p.m. against Woodward Academy.
