Science teacher Amy Hinote is currently listening to “Come Alive” by Hugh Jackman, Keala Settle, Daniel Everidge, and Zendaya.
“I’ve had the song stuck in my head all morning,” Hinote said.
“Come Alive” lives up to its name by energizing listeners with its vibrant and cheerful music. Listening to the lyrics you hear that the song is about how even if you are not ‘the norm’, you are still just fine the way you are.
The song comes from the movie “The Greatest Showman” where Barnum, played by Hugh Jackman, sings his song to instill hope and confidence in the performers. Jackman is also known for singing in both the musicals “Les Misérables” and “Not the Boy Next Door.”
“The song is about how he gets ‘oddities’ to come out and perform for the first circus,” Hinote said.
“Come Alive” captures the hearts of listeners and keeps their hearts pumping. If you are looking for an encouraging and upbeat song to wake you up in the morning then try “Come Alive.”
“Come Alive” is available on all streaming platforms.
