Junior Aleena Soto is currently listening to “I Bet You Think About Me” by Taylor Swift, feat. Chris Stapleton.

“It shows how you can be getting over a breakup and feel good about yourself,” Soto said.

Taylor uses her classic country sound in “I Bet You Think About Me,” reminiscent of her earlier album “Speak Now.” She partners with Chris Stapleton to tell the story of a breakup she went through and how her partner will be thinking about her for years to come.

Swift references the differences between her and her partner, but her love is what he will remember.

Not only is this song in Taylor Swift’s re-recorded album “Red,” but it is also a song ‘from the vault.’ This means that the song did not make it to the original album when it was released in 2012. The songs featured on the remade album tell additional stories of Swift’s relationship with actor Jake Gyllenhaal.

“She is so sure of who she is,” Soto said. “Even with how poorly she’s portrayed in the media, she still remains true to herself.”

Taylor’s re-recorded version of “Red” shows a new side of Taylor. “I Bet You Think About Me” is the perfect victory song. Listen to it on your favorite music streaming app.
