Freshman Nash Glover is currently listening to “Levitating” feat. DaBaby by Dua Lipa.

 “I just like the bops and that I know all the words so I can just scream it,” Glover said.

English singer and songwriter Dua Lipa released “Levitating” as part of her sophomore album, “Future Nostalgia,” in March of 2020. Its remix featuring rapper DaBaby was included as the album’s fifth single release in October 2020.

Jonathan Lyndale Kirk, more commonly known as DaBaby, is an American rapper. He rose to fame in 2019 after “Suge” was released as a lead single for his debut album, “Baby on Baby.” His most recent album, “Blame It On Baby,” was released in April 2020.

“Levitating” itself is already an upbeat pop song with some sort of a galaxy-ish feel. With the added rap verse in the remix sung by DaBaby, the song appeals to people who are drawn to either genre. Once you know all the lyrics, it’s the perfect song to bounce to with your friends.

“I just like that one song,” Glover said. “It’s just so good, and I want to share it with the world.”

“Levitating” is the perfect listen for anyone who likes upbeat pop music or rap, or even both.
