Sophomore Olivia Irwin recently watched “Moana 2.”
This sequel follows Disney princess, Moana, on her journey to far seas, after she was called by her wayfinding ancestors. It is a heartwarming movie that emphasizes different cultures.
The movie stars voice actors Auli’i Cravalho as Moana, and Dwayne Johnson as Maui. It was directed by Dana Ledoux Miller. She directed the original ‘Moana’ and ‘Pirates of the Caribbean.’
What did you enjoy about this film/series?
“I really love the soundtrack and the animation in the movie,” Irwin said.
What motivated you to watch this film?
“I enjoyed the first movie so much,” Irwin said.
What was the most memorable part of the film?
“I think the most memorable part of the film was the characters, specifically Maui,” Irwin said.
How is this film/series different from others that you have watched?
“Most of the other Disney princess movies are focused around different themes,” Irwin said.
What other films are similar to this one would you recommend?
“The original ‘Moana,’ and other movies that were made by Disney,” Irwin said.
