Science teacher John Sexton is currently watching the physiological thriller show “Dexter.”
The television show “Dexter” follows the secret life of vigilante serial killer Dexter Morgan. He is a forensic blood spatter analyst with the Miami Metro Police Department. Morgan targets murderers who have escaped justice, following a strict code taught by his adoptive father, Harry.
Marcos Siega directed the film. Actors include Michael C. Hudson, Jennifer Carpenter, and David Zayas. Marcos Siega also directed other films such as “Underclassman” and “Pretty Persuasion.”
What did you enjoy about this film?
“There’s a severe sense of Irony, because his job is to solve murders during the day and he commits them at night,” Sexton said.
What motivated you to watch this film?
“I’ve heard from a couple people from the grape vine that it’s quite good, and I think those people are correct,” Sexton said.
What was the most memorable part of this film?
“He murdered his brother who was also a serial killer, so that was quite a highlight of the series,” Sexton said.
What other films similar to this would you recommend?
“I guess on the topic of murder, I’ve been watching ‘The Walking Dead’ recently,” Sexton said. “I can certainly recommend that one.”
