Freshman Caroline Handy is currently watching the romance movie “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.”
The main character in the movie is Andie Anderson, writer of a “How-To” column in “Composure Magazine.” Anderson gets assigned to write a firsthand account about things women can do to push men away in relationships, the only problem is that she has to do it in 10 days. Now set on a mission, Anderson is determined to find a guy and write her column.
Donald Petrie directed the film. Kate Hudson, best known for starring in the drama film “Almost Famous,” plays the main character alongside male lead Matthew McConaughey.
What did you enjoy about this film?
“It was very interesting, and there were a lot of plot twists,” Handy said.
What motivated you to watch this film?
“It was a chick flick, and I love watching those,” Handy said.
What was the most memorable part of this film?
“Probably at the ending scene where [Andie Anderson] is wearing the yellow dress,” Handy said.

“I’d say ‘10 things I hate about you’,” Handy said.
