Freshman Ellie Williams recently watched “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” by Fancis Lawrence.
It is the second movie of the Hunger Games franchise. It is a dystopian movie following Katniss Everdean and Peeta Mellark. Katniss, after being traumatized in the first game, struggles to continue life as normal. She has to compete in the games again with the other winners. They have been told they will never play them again but have to anyway. Throughout the games, she befriends enemies and faces her internal conflict.
Jennifer Lawrence plays the main character in the movie series. Her first big role in TV was on the sitcom “The Bill Engvall Show.” Lawrence has played many different characters in many different genres of movies and TV shows.

What other films similar to this one would you recommend?
“I would recommend this movie but also the Divergent series is really good in comparison to the Hunger Games, and so is the Giver,” Williams said.
