Science teacher Melissa Beaulieu recently watched the movie “Deadpool and Wolverine.”
“Deadpool and Wolverine” is set in the Marvel multiverse. A group of timeline guardians are entrusted with stopping the occurrence of some timelines that are believed to be too harmful to the multiverse. Deadpool is chosen by these men to assist in defending the multiverse, and his normal life is not so calm anymore. In order to finish the task and protect his world, he teams up with Wolverine to face this existential threat.
“Deadpool and Wolverine” stars Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, and Channing Tatum. The series is directed by Shawn Levy who has also directed “The Adams Project” and “The Pink Panther.”
What did you enjoy about the film?
“I have the sense of humor of a 14-year-old boy. It was hilarious, and it was just a fun movie,” Beaulieu said. “Violent, gross, gore, all of it.”
What motivated you to watch this film?
“I know my husband and kid would enjoy it,” Beaulieu said. “We all went together. It was a family outing and we had a lot of fun.”
What was the most memorable part of the film?
“The most memorable part was probably when Wolverine’s shirt exploded,” Beaulieu said.
How is this film different from others you have watched?
“Definitely more violent and probably inappropriate, but funny,” Beaulieu said.
“Deadpool and Wolverine” is still showing in theaters.
