Cheers & Jeers
Cheers

Cheers to the Kendrick Lamar halftime show. The music was on-point and the “Not Like Us” segment was iconic. Even outside the music, which of course was amazing, the performance was laced with satire on the division of America.

Cheers to the Eagles defeating the Chiefs. The reign of Patrick Mahomes is finally over! Everyone thank Jalen Hurts and the Eagles defense for finally ending it. At least for this season.

Cheers to Cheer Sport. Congratulations to the cheer teams who have made it to the competition. Hope everyone from Starr’s Mill does well!

Cheers to the French foreign exchange students. Let’s make a good impression and show them how fun Starr’s Mill can be.

Cheers to Valentine’s Day. It is always fun to appreciate those who you love with gifts, candies, and flowers.

Cheers to Winter Break. A whole week of freedom! Except for three Prowler journalists who will be covering race weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton on February 21-23.

Jeers

Jeers to Ye. From the X rants to the weird commercials in the Super Bowl, he is clearly desperate for attention. We need to move on.

Jeers to prom planning. It is an unnecessary stress. The dress up and dinners take so much energy to plan out.

Jeers to class registration.  Once again needlessly stressful. It is hard to find all the classes you want on top of the requirements needed to get in, and then you have to worry about if that class fills up before you are able to get in, so now you are stuck in a random elective you did not want to do.

Jeers to Friday night practice. It is Friday. Why am I still at school practicing?

Jeers to Valentine’s Day. Our heart goes out to those who may be alone on Friday. Some of us are right there with you.

Jeers to parking at The Avenue in Peachtree City. We all agree that taking 20 minutes to find a parking spot is utterly ridiculous. It is made worse when you see a golf cart in a parking space meant for a car. MOVE!
