Cheers to the new “Wicked” movie that premieres this weekend in theaters. This is an adaptation of the Broadway musical and stars Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo.
Cheers to Starr’s Mill fall sports. The cheer team placed 8th at state and the football team won 32-24 against Mays High School to advance to the second round of playoffs.
Cheers to Domingo making an appearance at LA Night 2 of Sabrina Carpenter’s “Short N Sweet” tour. SNL cast member Marcello Hernandez appeared as Domingo in a skit where they covered “Espresso” by Sabrina Carpenter.
Cheers to the fact that it is the last week before Thanksgiving break. We are all grateful for a whole week off, but we just have to get through this one first.
Cheers to the fights that led up to the Mike Tyson and Jake Paul fight last Friday. Neeraj Goyat and Whindersson Nunes started off the night with an entertaining fight where they tickled each other in the weigh-ins and ended with a Goyat win. Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano had arguably the best fight of the night ending with Taylor’s victory.
Jeers to starting new jobs and having no clue what to do. There is nothing worse than having a confused customer when you are equally as confused.
Jeers to people looking at your phone while you are on it. I have a personal space bubble, and if you can read my phone, you are invading it.
Jeers to conflicting family members during the holidays. It is always fun to get together with your extended family until it ends with a screaming match over the turkey.
Jeers to the fact that Thanksgiving break means we are one step closer to midterm exams. This means teachers cramming in last minute tests and kids trying to get their grades up.
Jeers to the Jake Paul and Mike Tyson fight. Although it was the main event of Friday night’s entertainment, it was the most anti-climactic ending with an undeserved Jack Paul victory. There is no scenario where a 27-year-old should be fighting a retired 58-year-old boxer.
