Cheers & Jeers
Cheers

Cheers to Peachtree City surviving Hurricane Helene. Other than some flash floods and some fallen trees, Peachtree City came out pretty unharmed.

Cheers to this Saturday’s Panther Invitational. The Panther cheer team hosts its annual cheer competition where JV will compete and varsity will perform.

Cheers to fall officially starting. Even though the weather does not completely reflect it, fall is now in full swing.

Cheers to Six Flags Fright Fest. Fall does not just mean pumpkin spice and leaves changing.  Fall also means that spooky season is upon us and there is no better way to celebrate it than haunted houses and rides.

Cheers to our first two Best of SNOs. Editors-in-Chief Micah Freeman and Crista Alarcon both wrote stories that earned Best of SNOs. Let’s keep those awards coming!

Jeers

Jeers to Hurricane Helene. It put Buckhead and many places in Florida and North Carolina completely underwater. Many tourist places in western North Caroline are now gone.

Jeers to UGA losing to Alabama, 41-34. Georgia struggled at the beginning of the game and managed to come back but not enough to win the game.

Jeers to people who give unsolicited advice, especially when they are completely wrong. If I wanted your opinion, I would have asked for it.

Jeers to Monday night football. Because of Hurricane Helene, the game against Mundy’s Mill was  moved to Monday for the very first time in school history.

Jeers to random colds. With the turn of the season, many are starting to experience random colds that are bad enough to make you feel like a zombie but not enough to stay home sick.
