Famous American Hip Hop artist Kanye West has taken to Twitter, announcing his support for President Trump, tweeting “You don’t have to agree with trump but the mob can’t make me not love him. We are both dragon energy. He is my brother. I love everyone. I don’t agree with everything anyone does. That’s what makes us individuals. And we have the right to independent thought.”

His support for President Trump has already been met with backlash from several other A list celebrities, including John Legend, Amber Rose, and Wendy Williams, claiming “he is not well.”.

West himself is African American, a minority group that has not approved of President Trump’s rhetoric, so his support for President Trump sparked controversy.

West’s wife, Kim Kardashian, tweeted, “To the media trying to demonize my husband let me just say this… your commentary on Kanye being erratic & his tweets being disturbing is actually scary. So quick to label him as having mental health issues for just being himself when he has always been expressive is not fair.”

President Trump himself showed support for West, saying that West’s tweet of a signed Make America Great Again hat was “very cool.”.

Kanye West is a person that holds a significant amount of influence in the hip hop community, and in the African American community as well.  The reason these Left wing celebrities are attacking Kanye is because they are intolerant of different opinions.

The left has attacked President Trump every step of the way, claiming he is ignorant and intolerant of others opinions.

Kanye West has done nothing wrong. There should never be the fear of being called mentally ill just because another voices opinions that are different than one’s own.

The attacks on Kanye West show nothing but the hypocrisy of the Left, and the fact that they will attack anyone that disagrees with them.   

In the last week couple of weeks, famous American Hip-Hop artist Kanye West has decided to go on a rampage spewing out some very controversial ideas that received both negative and positive feedback. He continued his spiral of opinions on an interview with TMZ Live, which is where things truly began to take a turn for the worst.

While there a many people that are not in support of his ideas and opinions, there are many that say they feel “inspired” by Kanye’s “message”. However, Kanye is not delivering any positive message at all — he is only making himself look ignorant and the furthest thing from inspiring.

Kanye began by tweeting out his support toward President Donald Trump. “You don’t have to agree with trump but the mob can’t make me not love him. We are both dragon energy. He is my brother. I love everyone. I don’t agree with everything anyone does. That’s what makes us individuals. And we have the right to independent thought,” he said.

The famous rapper went on to tweet out pictures of his signed MAGA hat and him and some other men posing in a picture with it on. The President himself even quoted one of the tweets Kanye made toward him and thanked him, saying it was “very cool.” On a live TMZ interview, Kanye decided to continue demonstrating his strong support for Trump by calling him his “boy” and declaring his love for him. Not only did he say this, but he got onto the topic of slavery as well.

“When you hear about slavery for 400 years — for 400 years? That sounds like a choice,” Kanye started off. “You [were] there for 400 years and it’s all of y’all. It’s like we’re mentally in prison. I like the word ‘prison’ because ‘slavery’ goes too direct to the idea of Blacks. Slavery is to Blacks as the Holocaust is to Jews. Prison is something that unites as one race.” He ends his small speech by saying “that we’re the human race.”

One of the staff members replied to Kanye’s speech by saying that he actually believes he is “not thinking at all” and that what he is doing is “actually the absence of thought.”

“The reason that I feel like that,” the member continues, “Is because, Kanye, you’re entitled to your opinion, you’re entitled to believe whatever you want, but there is fact and real life consequence behind everything that you just said. While you are making music and being an artist, and living the life that you’ve earned by being a genius, the rest of us in society have to deal with these threats to our lives.”

What the staff member was most likely referring to when he said that “the rest of us in society have to deal with real life threats to our lives” was the fact that black people are still being brutally murdered and mistreated by police. While these things are happening, Kanye is praising people like Donald Trump that do nothing to support any movement that helps stop that.

Whatever one’s views are on Trump, one should know that he has many times been discriminatory toward minorities, which has in result not made him too popular in many minority communities.

Kanye West has an incredulous amount of influence over today’s generation with a tremendous platform. This means that, whether he likes it or not, millions of people look up to him and his way of thinking and are influenced by what he has to say.

Kanye West is still a minority and a member of the black community, and his beaming support of Donald Trump, who has retweeted white supremacists and speeches that belittle horrific moments in history such as slavery, is not inspiring nor eye-opening at all.
