Atlanta experienced a touch of Heaven and a wave of revival last weekend at the Passion 2024 Conference.
“Being in the room with 55,000 other people, it’s just crazy to think about. We’re all there for the same reason,” senior Ava Mossman said.
In 1997, Louie and Shelley Giglio started Passion Conference for college students to experience a spiritual awakening in each of their colleges and worship alongside other believers.
Over 55,000 attendees ages 18-25 and representing 72 countries and 52 states participated in the annual revival. Many seniors represented Starr’s Mill as well.
“[My favorite part of Passion was] definitely the worship,” senior Caroline Craddock said. “The songs in the set list, and everything was absolutely incredible. The way that we would keep singing after the songs had even ended was really cool.”
This year, the theme was “Call on Heaven” and centered around Revelation 4:8-11. Passion Conference brought in a variety of worship leaders and speakers, including: Crowder, Kari Jobe Carnes, KB, Phil Whickhan, Brandon Lake, Sadie Robertson Huff, Christine Caine, Ben Stuart, Levi Lusko, and Jonathan Pokluda.
“It’s honestly life changing and it puts your perspective in a different view,” Mossman said.
Since Passion’s humble beginning over two decades ago with a starting attendance of 2,000, the conference has experienced tremendous growth and is now held in Mercedes-Benz Stadium each January.
“It’s an experience you don’t want to miss out on,” Craddock said.
Passion Conference is available for livestream through January 31, 2024, on the Passion 2024 website. Follow @passion268 on social media for more clips from this transforming week and updates regarding Passion 2025 Conference.
