The process of selecting the class officer for the class of 2026 has started.

Class sponsors Tara Burnette and Rob Bell, and Student Government Association sponsor Whitney Shoemaker are overseeing the campaign, voting, and selection process.

“Neither one of us has been a class sponsor before […], but we are leaning toward a socratic seminar-type setting,” Burnette said. 

Applications can be picked up in Room 715 starting November 16. They need to be returned no later than 4 p.m. on November 18.

Burnette and Bell will conduct interviews after Thanksgiving Break on November 28-30.

As part of the campaign process, candidate videos are due December 4. Posters can be displayed around the school while voting takes place December 5-9.  

Class officers will be announced on the afternoon of December 9.
