Virtual Special Programs Night available this Thursday
January 18, 2022
Special Programs Night will be virtual again this year.
In preparation for the 2022-2023 school year, students can get more information about courses, including AP classes and Dual Enrollment.
“With all the Covid protocols, [the administration] switched it to a virtual meeting,” assistant principal Brandi Meeks said. This format makes it easier to release information to large groups of students and their parents without risking the spread of Covid.
The virtual format will include course, prerequisite, and application information.
One new AP course will be available to students – AP seminar.
“Once you do the virtual AP night, look at the courses you’re interested in and then you’ll meet with your counselor later,” Meeks said.
Interested students and parents can access the recording on the school’s Schoology page and the Starr’s Mill website. It will be posted on January 20 after 5 p.m. and can be viewed any time for the remainder of the semester.
