Last Saturday, three Key Club members volunteered at the 21 st annual Kiwanis Club Pancake Breakfast, which was held at McIntosh High School.
They helped with serving food, face painting and clearing tables of trash. First-year Key Club member junior Katie Patterson really enjoyed her face painting job. “I loved seeing the kids’ faces when they saw what I had painted on them,” Patterson said. Senior Brooke Horton, another first-year member, was one of the students cleaning the tables. “It’s very rewarding to be able to give back to the community in such a small way,” Horton said.
