Starr’s Mill welcomes girls basketball head coach and learning specialist Brandon Cerezola to the Panther family.
Cerezola has always had a desire and love for basketball. His love began in the seventh grade when he was elected as the captain of his team.
“I kind of fell in love with [coaching],” Cerezola said.
He got his undergraduate and his masters from Arlington Christian University where he studied business administration and sports management.
As a new teacher in this school, Cerezola has been able to appreciate the change in the atmosphere and the eagerness of students. He has coached at the high school and collegiate levels and this passion places the bar of excellence high.
“The kids are excited to be in everything that we do, whether it’s in class or in the weight room or on the court,” Cerezola said.
Cerezola is ready to enhance the culture of the school. Aside from coaching, he is a learning specialist for special education.
“I’m very passionate, very energetic, all about motivating,” Cerezola said.
When Cerezola is not always on the move at Panther Path, he takes pleasure in running, spending time with his nephew, and going to the lake.
